Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on PCH at Magnolia Street

 HUNTINGTON BEACH: Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Pacific Coast HighwayHUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (Jan. 3, 2020) — A 30-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday night on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach.

The collision took place just after 11 p.m. last night, just north of Magnolia Street, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

The victim was found lying on the side of the roadway and the involved 2019 Dodge Durango SUV was stopped neraby with major damage. The 51-year-old driver of the Dodge was a man visiting from Toronto, Canada. Police say he cooperated with the investigation. None of his three passengers were injured.

The Huntington Beach Police Department is heading up the investigation.
