Woman, 76, Struck, Killed on Springdale Street in Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (June 9, 2022) – A fatal Huntington Beach pedestrian accident happened early Thursday morning on Springdale Street, just north of Bolsa Avenue.
A driver in a pickup truck struck a woman crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk about 5 a.m. on June 9th, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
The 76-year-old Huntington Beach woman suffered major injuries in the crash. She reportedly died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 51-year-old Huntington Beach man driving the black 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck stopped and is cooperating with law enforcement.
Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash, they said.
