Huntington Beach Rollover Crash on Newland Street, Near Slater Avenue

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (July 2, 2026) — One motorist was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Newland Street in Huntington Beach.

According to the Huntington Beach Fire Department the collision occurred on July 1st when two motorists collided and one of them overturned onto its roof in the roadway.

Firefighters responded to the crash scene located just north of Slater Avenue and located the injured driver in a silver sedan had exited their overturned vehicle.

Paramedics determined the driver required further treatment and transported the person to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, it’s unknown if the other driver was hurt in the crash and detectives are working to determine fault.

The investigation is ongoing.
