Victorville Man, 49, Struck and Killed on Freeway

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Feb. 26, 2024) — Iaan Michael Lee, 49, of Victorville, died in a Victorville pedestrian accident Thursday on the Interstate 15 Freeway at the Roy Rogers Drive off ramp.

The deadly crash occurred in the northbound lanes of at around 2:36 a.m. on February 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reportedly responded to the scene where the pedestrian reportedly was hit by a gray Kia Stinger while walking on the freeway.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and called 911 for help.

Paramedics responded and located the victim down in traffic lanes where he died shortly after the collision.

He was later identified as Iaan Michael Lee of Victorville, the report said.

Witnesses to the crash may contact the California Highway Patrol Victorville Station.

The case remains under investigation.
