Ildifonso Ibarra Fatal Pedestrian Accident Highway 180, Bryan Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (June 5, 2023) — Ildifonso Ibarra, 67, of Kerman, died in a pedestrian accident Wednesday night at Highway 180 and Bryan Avenue.

The collision occurred around 10:20 p.m. on May 31st, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The man was wearing dark clothing when he was was struck by an eastbound Honda, the report said.

The man went down in the roadway and died at the scene. The motorist stopped and cooperated with authorities and the investigation.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office later identified the victim as Ildifonso Ibarra.

Authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision.
