2 Adults Killed, Child Injured After Car Accident on Marysville Road
OREGON HOUSE, Yuba County (June 11, 2018) – Two adults were killed, and a 1-year-old boy was injured in a car crash Sunday evening on Marysville Road.
According to Appeal-Democrat, a Subaru Outback veered off the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a tree on Marysville Road, just west of Yuba Ranch Way.
The Outback apparently flipped and came to rest on its wheels.
Deadly Car Accident in Oregon House, June 10
Shortly after 5:45 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the accident scene and immediately attended to the driver and the front-seat passenger who both appeared to be unconscious. After checking the conditions of both parties, they were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased driver was identified as 27-year-old Ilya Koloyartsev, and the passenger was 31-year-old Jennifer Coffey. Both fatalities reportedly reside in Oregon House, but their relationship remained unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned a 1-year-old boy was also found in the wreckage. The juvenile, who was secured in a child safety seat on the left rear passenger side of the vehicle, suffered moderate injuries as a result of the accident. He was flown to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. The name of the child, and his condition at this time have not been disclosed thus far.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the exact cause of the deadly crash.
