Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on Palm Avenue Wednesday
Imperial Beach, CA (March 31, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Wednesday night on Palm Avenue in Imperial Beach, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
Officials said a vehicle struck an individual on Palm Avenue, also known as State Route 75. The horrible crash took place in the area between 11th and 12th streets in San Diego County.

Shortly after 10:50 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the site. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the person found lying on the road. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department later confirmed the pedestrian sadly died as a result of the collision. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
No immediate information was available on the driver involved in the deadly collision.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the fatal pedestrian accident in San Diego County’s Imperial Beach.
