Imperial County Accident Rutherford Road, Hastain Road
IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (March 30, 2021) — An Imperial County crash on Rutherford Road on Tuesday left one person with major injuries.
The California Highway Patrol reports the crash happened about 7:36 a.m. on March 30th at Hastain Road.
Two vehicles collided and one of them wound up halfway into a nearby canal. The driver was still in the vehicle after the crash. The CHP report did not mention what led up to the Imperial County crash today.
2-Vehicle Accident Major Injuries
A tow truck removed a white GMC Sierra with front-end damage as well as a second vehicle damaged in the Imperial County collision.
Paramedics rushed at least one person with major injuries to a local hospital. It’s unknown how many people all together were hurt in the Imperial County crash on Rutherford Road.
Meanwhile, investigators seek to determine the cause of the collision.
