1 Badly Injured in Crash at Indian Wells Lane and Highway 111
INDIAN WELLS, CA (July 15, 2022) – One was badly injured after a car crash at Indian Wells Lane and Highway 111 in Indian Wells.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the accident late Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 10:12 p.m.
The incident happened when multiple vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Indian Wells Lane and Highway 111.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed at least one trapped occupant from the wreckage. One person sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. Cal Fire said two other people declined transport.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Indian Wells Lane and Highway 111 to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
