INDIO, California (June 10, 2015) — Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Monroe Street and Dr. Carreon Boulevard, according to a CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters report.
About 3:36 p.m., CHP officers responded to the crash where one person became trapped in the wreckage suffering moderate injuries. A second person was also hurt and suffered minor injuries. The two people were taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash to determine liability.
