INDIO: 2 Pickup Trucks Crash on I-10 Freeway Near Jefferson Street

INDIO, Calif., (June 25, 2026) — A maroon Ford F-150 pickup and a blue Ford Ranger truck collided Thursday in Indio on the Interstate 10 Freeway West, east of Jefferson Street, causing major damage and leaving injuries unknown at this time.
The incident was reported on Sonny Bono Memorial Freeway at approximately 6:49 a.m. on June 25th, prompting emergency responders to the scene at mile marker 53. Heavy traffic was observed in the area as a result of the collision, with debris scattered across the roadway.
Both vehicles suffered significant damage, particularly the blue Ford Ranger, which sustained major front-end damage. Dispatch logs show there was a request for vehicle rotation made at 6:58 a.m. to Classic Auto for towing services.
