1 Injured in Indio Crash on Highway 111 Near Clinton Street
INDIO, CA (May 6, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 111 near Clinton Street in Indio.
According to the KESQ News and My News LA, the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at about 12:24 p.m.
The incident happened on May 5 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Indio. They crashed in the 81000 block of Highway 111 near Clinton Street.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated two occupants from the wreckage. They found one patient who sustained possible major injuries as a result of the wreck.
Medical personnel took the victim to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Highway 111 near Clinton Street to shut down following the incident. The cause of the Indio crash is still under investigation.
