2 Injured in Car Crash on Indio Boulevard Near Museum
INDIO, CA (July 2. 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash on Indio Boulevard near a museum in Indio.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the incident on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck on July 2 shortly before 10 p.m.
The incident happened when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. Cal Fire said the cars crashed in the 82200 block of Indio Boulevard.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near the Coachella Valley History Museum. They then freed at least two trapped occupants from the wreckage.
The rescued patients ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed both of them to hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Indio Boulevard to shut down following the car crash.
The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
