1 Killed, 3 Seriously Injured in Indio Crash Near Dillon Road and Fargo Canyon Road
INDIO, CA (August 21, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and seriously injured several others near Dillon Road and Fargo Canyon Road in Indio.
According to the KESQ News and My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:55 p.m. near Landfill Road.
The California Highway Patrol said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Indio. They crashed near the intersection of Dillon Road and Fargo Canyon Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then pronounced one individual dead at the scene. A total of three people sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Air ambulances took all three patients to hospitals for treatment. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Dillon Road and Fargo Canyon Road to shut down for hours following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Indio crash is still under investigation.
