Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Near Fullerton Road Sunday
Industry, CA (March 20, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 60, also known as Pomona Freeway.
According to My News LA, an individual was hit by a vehicle in the westbound side of the freeway in Industry. Earlier reports indicated the collision took place near Fullerton Road Sunday evening.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Pomona Freeway in Industry
The article published online mentioned the accident resulted in fatal injuries to the pedestrian. Shortly after 7:52 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the site and found the victim unconscious. Paramedics attempted to save the pedestrian but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the driver apparently appeared unharmed after the collision.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. The continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Pomona (60) Freeway.
