2 Infants Hospitalized After Car Accident on I-5 Freeway at Laguna Boulevard Saturday
Elk Grove, CA (April 24, 2021) – Two infants suffered injuries following a car crash on Interstate 5 Freeway Saturday evening, the KCRA3 News reported.
Authorities said a woman was seen behind the wheel of a white SUV. The female driver was reportedly traveling recklessly in the southbound side of I-5 at Laguna Boulevard.
Our sources indicated the white SUV eventually crashed when the driver lost control. The SUV continued and veered across the center median of the freeway.

Shortly after 7:40 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location and found the 32-year-old female driver dead. Police continue to withhold the name of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, responding paramedics found two infants in the SUV. The news article published online indicated an ambulance transported the infants to UC Davis as a precaution.
