Phillips Struck by Car while Riding Skateboard
INGLEWOOD, California (April 3, 2016) – A skateboarder was left injured after a hit-and-run crash on West Century Boulevard, according to ABC 7.
As per the article, 19-year-old Brandon Phillips was riding his skateboard near the Chase Bank when he was allegedly struck by a beige Jeep.
Phillips claimed he was knocked to the ground upon impact. The Jeep driver, an unidentified woman, did not stop to render aid and took off the scene.
ABC 7 reported that Phillips suffered a broken leg and a fractured wrist following the accident.
Authorities will gather more evidence and information to locate the hit-and-run motorist.
