Police Chase Ends in Deadly Car Accident at Glasgow Avenue and Olive Street Wednesday
Inglewood, CA (April 28, 2021) – Two innocent people died following a car crash in the area of Glasgow Avenue and Olive Street Wednesday evening, the CBS News reported.
Preliminary investigation revealed the on-duty officers spotted a pickup truck that ran a red light in Inglewood. For this reason, the California Highway Patrol officers launched a pursuit.
The deputies reportedly followed the pickup truck onto 405 Freeway and attempted to pull it over. However, the motorist apparently refused and continued driving at a high rate of speed.
According to the article published online, the suspect eventually exited the freeway. When the pickup truck approached the intersection at Glasgow and Olive, it T-boned a sedan not involved in the chase.

Our sources later confirmed a passenger from the sedan sadly succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics reportedly rushed the driver to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The male driver later sadly died. Police continue to withhold the names of the deceased parties pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials said the driver of the pickup truck tried to run away after the catastrophic incident but was apprehended.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the car crash at Glasgow Avenue and Olive Street.
