At Least 1 Injured in Crash at Manchester and Ash Tuesday
Inglewood, CA (September 3, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol reported a hit-and-run collision that occurred in the area of Manchester Boulevard and Ash Avenue Tuesday morning.
Initial records indicated a woman driving a white Ford Focus veered off its lane in an attempt to avoid crashing with a black Nissan at the Inglewood intersection. However, the sudden movement led to Ford to collide with a semi truck.
The accident took place at approximately 6:45 a.m.
A fire engine and other emergency crews responded to the site and rendered aid to the victims. The CHP confirmed at least one person suffered an injury as a result of the collision. The name of the injured person and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, authorities mentioned a motorist involved in the crash fled the scene. Investigators continue to work to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect.
