SANTA CLARA: Hit-and-run Car Crash on San Tomas ExpresswaySANTA CLARA, California — At least one person was injured in an alleged hit-and-run collision on San Tomas Expressway at Monroe Street Monday morning.

The accident happened on April 3 at 10:33 a.m. between a red sedan and an older model of Honda. At 10:40 a.m., CHP mentioned the involved red vehicle left the scene before police officers arrived at the area.

As per officials, the alleged hit-and-run suspect possibly occupied a red Toyota sedan with damage to its left front.

Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly and provided treatment to the injured whose names were not disclosed pending next of kin notification.

Investigation is ongoing.
