3 Taken to Hospital

SANTEE, San Diego County (August 20, 2016) – Three people have been taken to a hospital following a head-on collision on Carlton Oaks Drive at Oakbourne Road, according to an article by NBC San Diego.

The accident happened on August 19, Friday at around 12:35 p.m.

In detail, the article mentioned a 2004 Toyota minivan and a 2009 Nissan Xterra have been involved in a wreck. The force from the impact resulted in the Toyota driver sustaining serious trauma. A Toyota passenger was also located at the scene suffering in injuries; the passenger was later identified as the 16-year-old son of the driver.

Further, the Nissan motorist was also hurt from the crash that forced its vehicle to overturn to its side. He was briefly trapped, then extricated and transported to a medical facility.

All hurt parties were taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
