SACRAMENTO, California (July 12, 2016) – According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, an injury collision was reported on the westbound Highway 50 to the northbound 5 Freeway transition ramp Tuesday evening.
The crash involving a silver sedan and a dark colored SUV took place shortly after 7 p.m.
As per the incident log, Sacramento Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to attend to at least one person who suffered minor injuries and complained of pain following the 2-car wreck.
It was not immediately known however if the victim was treated at the scene or was transported to the hospital for further medical aid.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the accident to determine liability.
