At Least 1 Hurt, Victim Vehicle Rolls Over
SAN BERNARDINO, California (August 2, 2016) – According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, a hit-and-run collision resulted in injuries on the Interstate 215 Freeway Tuesday night.
The crash involving three vehicles occurred at 8:38 p.m. on the northbound 215 Freeway between 5th and Baseline streets.
As per the incident log, an SUV was struck and then rolled over, landing on its roof in the right lane of the 5th Street off-ramp.
Fire department personnel along with the paramedics were on scene to attend to at least one injured person in the accident. CHP did not mention the extent of the injuries sustained by the unidentified victim.
Meanwhile according to the dispatch, one of the drivers involved took off the scene. A huge bumper was found on the Baseline Street off-ramp following the wreck.
It was not immediately known if the suspect was located arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
