MILPITAS, California — Injuries were reported following a hit-and-run collision on Interstate 880 freeway Monday evening, according to California Highway Patrol group.
The CHP mentioned that the accident occurred near Dixon Landing Road onramp at 9:54 p.m. on March 6.
As per the log, a white Ford Crown Victoria and a black KIA Optima were involved in the crash. Unfortunately, it was not discussed if the mentioned cars occupied the hit-and-run driver, or both were driven by victims.
Paramedics affirmed at least one person was injured from the crash. Due to coroners still working on notifying next of kin, the name of the victim was not disclosed.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the injury hit-and-run accident.
