COMMERCE, California (June 13, 2016) – According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, a rollover crash resulting in injuries occurred on the southbound Interstate 710 Freeway Monday evening.
CHP first logged the incident when a Jeep overturned in the middle lanes at 7:13 p.m., near East Washington Boulevard. The dispatch said the collision took place when a vehicle was cut off by another which was described as a white car.
As per the dispatch, fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene to attend to at least one person who was confirmed to have suffered minor injuries following the wreck.
It was not known however if the victim was treated at the scene or was taken to the hospital for further medical assessment.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
