LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 25, 2023) – Inmer Samuel Cruz, 23, died in a hit-and-run bicycle accident at Main Street and 43rd Street in South Los Angeles.
The deadly hit-and-run crash occurred around 10:40 p.m. on April 13th, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
This week police released a video of the hit-and-run collision in hopes of locating the suspect driving a silver 2008 to 2013 Mercedes-Benz C230 or C330.
The motorist was traveling eastbound on Main Street when they struck the bicyclist as he was crossing the intersection. The driver continued driving without stopping to help the young man who died following the crash. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified the victim as Inmer Samuel Cruz.
Furthermore, the city of Los Angeles has a standing reward of up to $50,000 available to the public if their tips lead to the identification, arrest, and conviction of a fatal hit-and-run.
