Ceyontay Bell, 24, Jordan Phillips, 23, and Isaac Maestas, 22, Killed in Collision
CASTAIC, Calif. (August 7, 2024) – Ceyontay Bell, 24, Jordan Phillips, 23, and Isaac Maestas, 22, died and one person survived with major injuries after a crash Monday on the Interstate 5 Freeway in Castaic.
The deadly crash occurred at around 4:30 p.m. on August 5th, near Templin Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
An investigation is now underway into what caused the black Nissan Armada SUV carrying four people to crash down an embankment on the side of the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway.
All three men died at the scene and the only survivor suffered major injuries and was hospitalized.
Traffic police will gather evidence and question any witnesses to the fatal Castaic crash on the 5 Freeway.
