Ira Bushinsky, 68, Killed in Orange Motorcycle Crash on 55 Freeway
ORANGE, CA (September 4, 2021) – Ira Bushinsky was killed after a motorcycle crash on the 55 Freeway in Orange.
The Orange County coroner’s office identified the 68-year-old Garden Grove man as the victim of the fatal wreck on Friday morning.
The incident happened when Ira Bushinsky was riding a motorcycle in the No. 1 lane of the northbound 55 Freeway in Orange. For an unknown reason, a vehicle caused his bike to fall.
Motorcyclist Hit by Car
The rider ended up ejected from his motorcycle onto the freeway in the process. The California Highway Patrol said a 2019 Hyundai Sonata approached and then ran over him.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the motorcyclist lying on the ground as a result of the collision. Ira Bushinsky died at the scene of the Orange crash.
My News LA wrote that the accident took place on September 3 at about 5:40 a.m. near Katella Avenue. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the others drivers involved stopped following the collision.
