Woman, 29, Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Duncan Canyon Road Thursday
Fontana, CA (December 25, 2021) – Irene Hernandez, a 29-year-old woman, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported a vehicle struck the female party on the Fontana freeway on December 23, Thursday. Our sources indicated the crash took place near Duncan Canyon Road. At this time, the make and model of the car involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.

Shortly after 3:09 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the pedestrian found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, the woman sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. Authorities later confirmed the identity of the deceased as Irene Hernandez, of San Bernardino.
Officers continue to withhold details on the driver involved in the unfortunate event pending confirmation.
Further investigation on the horrible crash is underway.
