2-Vehicle Crash at Irvine Intersection; Woman Hospitalized
IRVINE, Calif. (April 29, 2022) – An Irvine car accident at Barranca Parkway and Jamboree Road happened early Friday morning.
The two-vehicle collision occurred about 12:12 a.m. on April 29th, according to the Irvine Police Department.
A woman who became trapped in a white or light gray sedan following the collision with another motorist in a silver, 4-door sedan. The vehicle suffered major damage on its passenger side during the crash.
Orange County Fire Authority Heavy Rescue unit responded. They used the Jaws of Life cut open the front passenger side door to release her from the vehicle.
Paramedics rushed her by ambulance to a local hospital. The second vehicle had front-end damage from the collision. The motorist may have also been hurt, but declined an ambulance.
Finally, police are investigating the Irvine accident on Barranca Parkway to determine fault.
