Irvine Car Accident Interstate 5 Freeway at Jamboree Road

Minor Injury Crash on I-5 Freeway

IRVINE, Calif. (Oct. 24, 2023) — A two-vehicle Irvine car accident on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway happened Tuesday afternoon near Jamboree Road.

The collision occurred at around 2:11 p.m. on Oct. 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Lincoln and a white pickup truck were involved.

The vehicles were blocking the No. 5 lane of the I-5 Freeway.

Paramedics responded to the 5 Freeway help at least one person injured in the Irvine car accident.

Tow trucks removed both of the damaged vehicles from the scene.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash.
