2-Vehicle Collision in I-5 in Irvine
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2024) — A two-vehicle Irvine car accident happened Wednesday morning on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of Sand Canyon Road.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at around 9:03 a.m. on Feb. 7th, in the south Orange County area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
BMW and Honda Involved in Irvine Crash
CHP officials reported the drivers of a gray BMW M44I and a gray Honda were involved, but it’s unknown what led up to the accident.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help anyone injured and tow trucks removed damaged vehicles, but there are no further details at this time.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the Irvine accident on the 5 Freeway.
