Van and Car Involved in Crash on SR-133 in Irvine

IRVINE, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2025) — A white van and a car were involved in an accident Wednesday on southbound state Route 133, just north of the Interstate 5 Freeway in Irvine.

The two-vehicle collision occurred around 5:47 a.m. on Jan. 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the grey Honda Accord was blocking the number one lane and the white work van pulled over on the right shoulder.

The Irvine Police Department and paramedics responded to help those involved, but it’s unknown if anyone was injured in the crash.

Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles due to damage and investigators are working to determine fault for the Irvine accident on state Route 133.
