Major Injury Collision on San Diego Freeway Tuesday
Irvine, CA (November 3, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a car crash that occurred on Interstate 405, also known as San Diego Freeway.
On November 2, Tuesday, a sedan veered off the roadway while traveling in the southbound side of the highway. The accident took place near Irvine Center Drive.
Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 2:30 a.m. First responders found multiple parties possibly trapped in the disabled sedan.

Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to extricate three victims. According to the CHP dispatch, a female party, earlier pinned under the car, suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck.
Meanwhile, the conditions of the other two parties involved in the crash remained unknown at this time.
Investigators continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the car crash on Interstate 405 in Irvine.
