Man, 39, Killed in Crash at Jamboree Road and San Diego Freeway Saturday
Irvine, CA (November 7, 2020) – A 39-year-old man died following a traffic collision that occurred in the area of Jamboree Road and Interstate 405 Saturday morning.
According to an article published by My News LA, the adult male was driving a motorcycle on I-405, also known as San Diego Freeway.
Deadly Truck vs. Motorcycle Accident in Irvine, November 7
The catastrophic incident took place at the Jamboree Road intersection. Earlier reports indicated the motorcyclist collided with a truck hauling a trailer.
Shortly after 8 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the scene and found the rider with serious injuries. Paramedics then rushed the patient to Orange County Global Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and sadly died. Police continue to withhold the name of the deceased pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the operator of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process as obliged by the law.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine liability in the deadly motorcycle accident in Irvine.
