Rider Killed in Collision Near Lower Azusa Road
Irwindale, CA (November 20, 2022) – A motorcyclist died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Interstate 605 and Lower Azusa Road.
Motorcycle vs. Truck Accident on Interstate 605 in Irwindale
According to the California Highway Patrol log, a person riding a motorbike collided with a truck in the southbound lanes of the freeway in Irwindale. The horrible crash took place near Lower Azusa Road.
Rescue teams responded to the accident scene shortly after 5:39 p.m. When medical personnel arrived, they rendered aid to the motorcyclist and the occupants in the truck. After the evaluation, paramedics sadly confirmed the rider died in the collision. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed. Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the condition of the truck operator.
Police shut down multiple lanes of the highway to give way to the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the fatal crash that happened on Interstate 605 in Irwindale.
