Issac Jetmore Long Beach Motorcyclist Identified
LONG BEACH, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2018) – Isaac Jetmore, 17, of Long Beach, was identified as the motorcyclist who died Tuesday in a collision with a pickup truck.
The crash took place about 12:20 p.m. at Wardlow Road and Gondar Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Jetmore was transported to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries, the coroner’s office reported.
Police say the motorcyclist was riding a black 2012 Yamaha Star motorcycle as he traveled west on Wardlow Road approaching Gondar Avenue.
Upon entering the intersection, he was struck by an eastbound white 2005 Ford F150 whose driver was attempting to make a left-hand turn in front of the bike to head north onto Gondar Avenue.
The driver in the pickup truck told authorities they did not see the motorcycle and the two ended up colliding.
The 30-year-old Cypress man was questioned by police after he stopped.
Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were factors.
Those of us at Johnson Attorneys Group offer our condolences to the family of Isaac Jetmore as they cope with this tragedy.
