2 Killed in Wilmington Truck Accident on PCH
WILMINGTON, Calif. (June 25, 2020) — Isaac Muriel, 22, and his passenger, Chyna Waddle, both died after crashing into the back of a big rig truck on Pacific Coast Highway in Wilmington.
The crash took place at 10:30 a.m. at 2000 East Pacific Coast Highway near East O Street in front of the Marathon Los Angeles Refinery, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The LAFD reported that two people were killed after their vehicle was rear-ended. Both victims died at the scene of the crash. The passenger has not yet been identified.
The cause of the crash and liability are under investigation by police.
