PASADENA, California (March 25, 2016) — Isaias Vargas Jr., 22, of Pasadena has been identified as the motorcyclist killed Thursday afternoon in a rush-hour crash on the 210 Freeway, according to a report by the Pasadena Star News.
The crash took place about 4:41 p.m. near Sierra Madre Villa Avenue. The rider died of his injuries at the scene, but five people in the truck were not harmed.
The Pasadena Fire Department was at the scene to help those involved. Police issued a SigAlert for the crash due to heavy traffic backup. The crash is under investigation to determine liability.
