At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident on Highway 101 Thursday
Isla Vista, CA (June 3, 2021) – A suspected DUI car crash occurred on Highway 101, the KSBY News reported.
On Thursday, at approximately 2:15 a.m., a single-vehicle crashed in the southbound side of the highway near Dos Pueblos Canyon Road offramp.
Responding emergency teams found at the location a vehicle veered off the roadway. According to the article published online, the car slammed into a palm tree.
The force from the impact reportedly ejected one of the two female occupants. Paramedics rendered aid to the woman found overthrown outside the car. Authorities confirmed the victim sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck.
