Minor Injury Car Crash at Highway 12 and Jackson Slough Road
DATE OF COLLISION: Thursday, December 20th
December 20, 2018 – Injuries were reported following an alleged hit-and-run accident in the area of Highway 12 and Jackson Slough Road, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
Primary reports indicated a Toyota Camry and a Ford Explorer Sport Trac collided, for reasons still under investigation, at the intersection at 1:27 p.m. Thursday.

Officials said one of the involved motorists evaded the scene before authorities arrived. No additional information has been yet released on the suspected hit-and-run driver.
Meanwhile, paramedics mentioned at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the victim, and the extent of their injuries have not been disclosed thus far.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
