At Least 1 Hurt in Car Accident on State Route 160 (River Road) Monday
Isleton, CA (September 9, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on State Route 160 resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Preliminary investigation revealed two vehicles collided on Highway 160, also known as River Road, in Isleton. The force from the impact caused one car the careen away from the road, and eventually slam into a tree.
Shortly after 12:24 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found one vehicle disabled in the right-hand shoulder of State Route 160.
Paramedics at the scene immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, one or more parties sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. The names of the victims and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.
Hit-and-Run Car Crash in Isleton, September 6
The CHP log mentioned one driver fled the scene before police arrived. At this time, investigators continue to work to identify and locate the hit-and-run suspect in the Isleton car crash.
