In this case, there are several questions that need to be resolved in order to determine the cause of the crash. Was the driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs a factor? Did excessive speed or distracted driving play a role? Why did the elderly driver of the Toyota Avalon suddenly enter the Highway 99? Was he driving recklessly at some point or did he suffer a medical emergency prior to impact?
Pending the results and findings of the investigation for this accident, the injured and not held responsible for causing the collision will possess the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit against the at-fault party.
