Ivan Lopez, 28, Killed in Compton Crash at Alondra Boulevard and Holly Avenue
COMPTON, CA (September 18, 2022) – Ivan Lopez was killed after a motorcycle crash at Alondra Boulevard and Holly Avenue in Compton.
The coroner’s office identified the 28-year-old Compton man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Ivan Lopez was riding a motorcycle in the city of Compton. For an unknown reason, he collided with another vehicle.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Deputies said the two crashed at the intersection of Alondra Boulevard and Holly Avenue. My News LA wrote that the accident occurred on September 17 at about 4:32 p.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the motorcyclist down on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced Ivan Lopez dead at the scene of the crash. Meanwhile, deputies did not mention if the other driver ended up hurt or if they stopped following the incident.
Officers forced the area of Alondra and Holly to shut down for a time after the wreck. The cause of the Compton crash is still under investigation.
