IVANHOE, Tulare County (December 24, 2016) – A hit-and-run collision has resulted in fatal injuries to a woman identified as Jamie Tagger, 35, at Road 160 and Avenue 328 on Saturday evening, per the Hanford Sentinel.
CHP first logged the incident when Tagger was struck by a vehicle at about 6:24 p.m.
Per the Sentinel, Tagger was struck as she walked along the right shoulder of Road 160 headed northbound.
The driver of the vehicle which is described as being a white GMC or Chevy pickup truck failed to stop and left the scene.
Tagger was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center before she sadly died of her injuries.
The California Highway Patrol-Visalia division will handle the investigation.
