Fatal Traffic Collision at Malvern and Basque Avenue Thursday
Fullerton, CA (March 4, 2022) – Ivars Borsteins, a 58-year-old man, died at a hospital following a motorbike accident that occurred in the area of Malvern and Basque Avenue.
According to My News LA, Borsteins modified a mountain bike with an electric motor. The man was riding the motorized bicycle traveling at an unknown direction in the streets of Fullerton. When the motorist approached the intersection at Malvern and Basque, he crashed and fell down the ground.
The catastrophic incident took place on March 3, Thursday, around 9:30 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the site, they found Borsteins with serious injuries. Due to the condition of the victim, emergency crews rushed the man to a hospital. The patient later sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities confirmed the identity of the deceased as Ivars Borsteins, of Fullerton.
Detectives said they continue to work at this time to determine whether another vehicle contributed to the horrible crash. Further investigation is underway on the deadly crash at Malvern and Basque Avenue in Fullerton.
