1 Seriously Injured in Jackson Crash at Highway 88 and Rossbridge Road
JACKSON, CA (January 6, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 88 and Rossbridge Road in Jackson.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Thursday evening. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 7:30 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Jackson. They crashed on Highway 88 at the intersection with Rossbridge Road.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a silver Dodge Grand Caravan and a pickup truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene, a half mile east of Dalton Road.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 88 and Rossbridge Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Jackson crash is still under investigation.
