Jacob Farrand, 24, Killed La Habra DUI Car Accident
LA HABRA (September 20, 2018) – A man was killed after an alleged DUI crash in the area of East La Habra and South Harbor Boulevards early Thursday morning, according to KTLA.
Orange County Coroner’s Office named the victim as 24-year-old Jacob Farrand, of La Habra.
As per the article, police said a vehicle was going east on La Habra Boulevard when it collided head-on with another car that was headed north on Harbor Boulevard at the time.
One of the drivers involved, identified as Farrand, was pronounced dead at the scene. The collision took place at about 2:30 a.m. near the intersection.
Suspected DUI Driver ID’d as Scott Hisaka, 28
Meanwhile, the other motorist was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The patient, 28-year-old Scott Hisaka, was believed to have been under the influence when the wreck occurred.
The La Habra man was later released into police custody and will be booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of murder and felony DUI. The investigation is ongoing.
