Sonoma Man, 19, Killed in Solo Crash on McKinstry Street in Napa County
NAPA COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2018) — Jacob Patrick Paine, 19, of Sonoma. died in an apparent traffic accident Sunday night in the 1200 block of McKinstry Street in the Oxbow District, according to the Napa Valley Register.
Police are investigating the circumstances by interviewing all those involved in the solo car crash. They are seeking to find out whether or not drugs and or alcohol were factors.
At this time, police are trying to determine if the victim was one of six occupants in a vehicle or if he was a pedestrian. He was found lying unconscious near a crashed convertible sedan.
The incident was reported at 10:51 p.m. Paramedics rushed the injured man to a hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The incident is under investigation by the Accident Reconstruction Team.
