Sonoma Resident, 27, Suspect in DUI Collision Near East Washington and Grey Street Sunday
Petaluma, CA (October 8, 2021) – On October 3, police arrested 27-year-old Jacob Quintas following a car accident that occurred in the area of South McDowell Boulevard and Maria Drive.
The Patch News published an article online indicated Jacob Quintas was driving a vehicle in the streets of Petaluma Sunday.
Per local news source, Jacob Quintas collided with another vehicle near the intersection of McDowell and Maria. Officials said the man did not stop after the crash and fled the scene.
Responding officers gathered information on the accident. Shortly after, authorities found the suspect vehicle near East Washington and Grey Street. The car driven by Jacob Quintas had new damage and it appeared to match damage from a hit-and-run collision that occurred nearby.

Investigators added Quintas showed signs of intoxication. Given that, police arrested the suspect on suspicion of DUI.
Detectives continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the Petaluma car crash.
